How to fix the external unit of the air conditioner
It is very important to correctly connect the air conditioner in the apartment:
- The wall should be fairly flat and very solid. Otherwise, during operation, the equipment will shake until it falls off along with the mount;
- There should not be too much distance between the outdoor and indoor unit. The longer the connecting tubes are, the harder it is for the air conditioner to perform its function. And the work of the installation wizards will cost more;
- It is desirable that the tubes bend as little as possible between the blocks. Any kinks impede the movement of the refrigerant, placing additional stress on the compressor.

- Where the air movement is disturbed by any obstacles (behind curtains, behind furniture). There should be a distance of 70 centimeters or more to any surface, and even three meters is better. Otherwise, the air conditioner may malfunction;
- It is strongly not recommended to hang equipment in such a way that it blows directly onto people. During room cooling, the appliance produces air much colder than the overall room temperature. Being under an ice stream can cause serious illnesses, up to pneumonia. When choosing a place where to install an air conditioner in an apartment, the most questions are caused by the rooms of the bedrooms of a small area. Many consumers decide that the best place is at the foot of the bed. But this is a mistake. It is more expedient to install the device on the contrary above the head. So the air from it will be directed towards the legs, and they are most often covered;
- It is forbidden to mount equipment without using a level. Sooner or later, the air conditioner will start “crying” right on the floor;
- You should step back ten centimeters from the ceiling.

The choice of location for installing a window air conditioner is not so great. This is a window opening or a wall if it is not too thick. If the room has a complex configuration, it will be more difficult to cool or heat it with such equipment.
