Diaphragm vacuum pumps
The design of HBM pumps is simple: a chamber equipped with a diaphragm and a pair of valves. To improve performance and reduce pulsation, the mechanism is equipped with paired chambers, the membranes of which function in antiphase to each other.
Such pumps also cope with an abundance of liquid vapors. If the diaphragms are made of chemically neutral materials, the pump can be used with aggressive gases.
As a vacuum cleaner for an air conditioner, they are bought less often, since the price is higher, and the replacement of valves and membranes is also required.
