Internal structure of the air conditioner
The indoor unit of the air conditioner is represented by the following components:
- Front Panel Is a plastic cover with frequent slits. Air is sucked in by the air conditioner through the slots. The cover rises to reveal the interior of the air conditioner;
- The first thing the user sees when lifting the front panel is coarse filter... It is a fine plastic mesh, on which particles of wool, threads, fluff, and scraps of dust settle. The filter should be cleaned every 2 weeks, otherwise the load on the equipment will increase. The most advanced models are equipped with an automatic cleaning option;
- Evaporator - a component of the internal device of the air conditioner, where freon absorbs heat from the air and evaporates. Air jets pass through the evaporator, giving off heat to freon;
- Blinds are horizontal - with the help of the curtains, the movement of the air stream driven by the fan of the indoor unit of the air conditioner in the vertical direction is changed. As a rule, all models are controlled by a remote control. Some manufacturers provide the option of free movement of blinds, which provides air convection throughout the room;
- Display - can be liquid crystal or a set of LEDs. Illuminating in different combinations, they notify the user about the various actions of the device;
- Fine filter - manufacturers equip with various types of filters: electrostatic, carbon. The main function of the device is in no way dependent on the presence of this type of filter. But the quality of the air blown out of the air conditioner is greatly improved.
- Air conditioner indoor fan - works at three or four speeds. The impeller of the indoor unit of the air conditioner is put on the turbine, which rotates and drives the air in the required direction. In the event of a breakdown, the impeller of the indoor unit of the air conditioner is selected based on the diameter of the turbine and the model of the device;
- Blinds are vertical - direct the air stream in a horizontal plane. Managed only manually;
- Condensate collection tank - located directly under the evaporator, it should be emptied before disassembling the indoor unit of the air conditioner. On the street, water is directed through a drainage pipe;
- Air conditioner indoor unit PCB - most often located on the right side of the device. On the board of the indoor unit of the air conditioner there is a central microprocessor and several microcircuits.
