To decorate a house or apartment with photographs, posters and paintings, it is not necessary to drill the walls - for this purpose there are special fasteners with which you can securely fix the decor on the wall and, if necessary, outweigh or change the exhibit.
Use double-sided tape
If the canvas or photo on a stretcher is small and lightweight, you can use regular double-sided tape. Before doing this, check on a small inconspicuous piece of the wall to see if it will come off with pieces of paint.
Scotch tape is not suitable for rough walls covered with decorative plaster, since adhesion to the surface is very weak.
Apply mobile system
This system is pretty solid. It still requires reliable fastening to the wall of one main rail-rail, which is permanently hung at the selected height.
From it, cables of fishing line, metal or thin wooden sticks go down in the required amount. You can attach paintings, photos, posters or even small souvenirs to these pendants in any order.
You can change the exposure as often as you want, so it will remain vibrant and dynamic.
Use a crochet hook to attach pictures
If the frame has a special hanging loop on the back, you can use Kreps hooks for fastening.
These are thin and almost invisible plastic hooks of various sizes that are firmly fixed to the wall. In fact, the decoration itself is suspended from them.
There are also garland hooks - sometimes they are even more convenient.
Hang Velcro for attaching pictures
The assortment of the Command company includes a huge variety of special hooks and Velcro fasteners for attaching decorations to the wall. They are of different sizes and are designed for different weights - they usually write on the packages what kind of maximum load limit this or that system will withstand.
Such fasteners are literally Velcro: one part is glued to the back of the picture, the other to the wall.
They are fastened together like ordinary Velcro fasteners on shoes or clothes, according to the principle of a burdock.
Apply a spider-like crochet hook for pictures
These hooks come in different shapes and are designed to hold small items. In the plastic leg, which is attached to the wall, there are several small studs that resemble the legs of a spider, for which it got its name.
They are driven in with a hammer when fastening - quite shallow, the main thing is that the wall is strong enough. The holes remaining from them are practically invisible, especially on the wallpaper, but the weight of a painting or photograph should not exceed 1.5–2 kg.
