Manual or automatic window diffusers

One of the criteria for dividing vents for PVC windows is the way they are adjusted. The vents can be manually or automatically controlled. Manual ventilation openings work according to the principle of installing the corresponding shutter in a selected, usually from several possible positions. It is worth paying attention to the fact that the effectiveness of this type of ventilation holes largely depends on the conscious work of the user himself.

However, automatic regulation makes the diffusers completely independent. The advantage of this solution is that it protects people from themselves, for example, before reducing or eventually completely shutting off the air supply when the weather is cold. Such solutions ensure proper ventilation of the premises.

Diffusers for PVC windows, which have a constant cross-section, that is, the inability to regulate the size of the air supply opening, usually allows an amount of air to enter the premises, which depends on atmospheric conditions. Humidifier and thermostatic diffusers

Hygrovented fans are ventilation openings that operate automatically. Humidified diffusers for PVC windows work depending on the humidity in the room. This type of PVC window vent is equipped with a special polyamide tape sensor. This sensor is designed to open the fan damper and therefore to increase the air flow that enters the room when the humidity in the room increases. The sensor closes the diaphragm when the humidity in the room falls below a certain level.

This type of ventilation for PVC windows has a gap size control in the indoor humidity range from 35% to 70%. In a situation where the relative humidity is below 35%, the gap is minimal and no longer closes. However, if the relative humidity exceeds 70%, the diffuser is closed as much as possible and no longer opens. This type of ventilation causes a large exchange of air in rooms where moisture accumulates, such as bedrooms at night.

Thermostatic diffusers work under the influence of changes in the outside air temperature, and this is an automatic operation. In a situation where the outside air temperature drops below a certain value, usually 0 o C, the throttle valve is reduced and the outside air supply is reduced. This type of ventilation in plastic windows regulates the amount of air supplied and depends on the pressure difference outside and inside, as well as on the size of the hole, which is determined by the thermostat. It is worth noting that these types of vents are quite large and this is due to the design of the throttle control mechanism. In connection with you, they are mounted in the walls.

Installation of ventilation windows in stages

Self-assembly of the vents is not at all complicated and complicated. Although this is also not very easy. In order to properly install a diffuser on a window, we must have the appropriate equipment for this. The assembly can be given to professionals, but you can do it yourself with a little skill. It should be noted that the installation of ventilation holes in the windows does not take much time and should take no more than 30-40 minutes.

Firstly, when installing a diffuser, remember that a properly installed one must be located at the top of the window. The nozzle that directs the flow of air into the ceiling should be located where the air is warmest. It is also worth noting that the diffuser is not an obstacle when opening windows. Only then can we be sure that the fan will work correctly and will fulfill its task. A certain difficulty can arise if we want to equip an already installed window with a fan. In this case, it is extremely important to have and use the appropriate specialized equipment. Thanks to this equipment, we can reach the edge and also make holes, usually oval in shape. It should be noted here that the use of a conventional drill is not recommended for this purpose. This method will not provide adequate air flow.
